Hello, I’m Caitlin
I’m 21 years old and currently living in Hawaii. After recently finishing college, I found myself craving a creative outlet, which is how this blog was born. It brings together two of my favorite things: traveling and coffee. My goal is to inspire you to explore more, expand your view of the world, and share the tips and tricks I wish I had known sooner. I may be young, but I’m driven by passion and have so much planned for the future, and I hope you’ll follow along and start dreaming even bigger along the way.
Why I Started This Blog
To be honest, I started this blog because I felt called to. A few years ago, my aunt suggested I start one so she could follow along with my life in Hawaii. I laughed it off — who even reads blogs anymore, right? Turns out, the joke was on me, because here I am. What she didn’t know at the time was that she planted a seed that God would remind me of two years later.
I don’t know exactly what the future holds, but I do know that I want to travel, see this world, and connect with the people who make it so special. More than anything, I want to share what I discover and who I meet along the way. So in short, I started this blog because I love traveling, I love coffee, and I want to share that love with all of you.
How It Started
My love for traveling started about 2 years ago when I moved to Hawaii for an exchange semester. And yes, Hawaii is beautiful, but it was nothing like what I had imagined; it was different from what I had been told or seen online, and that is what I fell in love with. Experiencing a new place cannot be done online, through pictures or videos; it must be, well, experienced! Every place I go, I am reminded that there is a world out there with so many cultures, religions, people, and places, and none of them are exactly the same and all of them have lessons waiting to be taught.
My goal for this blog is to share those lessons I learn and to help others do the same. I know not everyone has the same passion for traveling as I do, but we all need a vacation here or there. As we all know, traveling isn’t cheap, it isn’t simple, and it’s kind of a lot of work, but hopefully, as I share more, traveling won’t feel as daunting anymore.

What you’ll get as a reader is my honesty. Anyone who knows me knows I always have an opinion — and I love sharing it — so that’s exactly what you can expect here. I’ll be sharing my real travel experiences, what I did right, what I did wrong, and even the things I missed along the way. I’ll also sprinkle in my favorite coffee shops and must-see attractions, while offering my best tips and advice for traveling overall.
Why You Should Listen To Me?
I offer a unique perspective. I’m young, plan all of my trips independently, and put a lot of thought and research into every destination. I’ve traveled more than most people my age, know how to find the perfect photo op, and understand how to make the most of a trip without overspending. And honestly, I have nothing to gain whether you take my advice or not. I’m simply here to share what I’ve learned along the way.
