I might be a little biased toward Sippin Siren since I worked there while living on the island, but I genuinely think my bias is valid. If you’re looking for one of the most versatile and well-stocked coffee shops in Hilo, this is it.
They can make just about any drink you can think of, and they have one of the largest syrup and flavor selections of any coffee shop on the Big Island that I’ve seen. The menu is extensive, offering espresso drinks, blended drinks, matcha, smoothies, specialty lattes, and more, so there’s truly something for everyone.
The food is just as impressive. While working there, I had many customers tell me it was some of the best food they had during their trip to Hawaiʻi. Right by the register, you’ll find a bake case filled with fresh cakes, scones baked the same day, and a variety of Danishes. And that’s not all, when you walk in and look to the left, you’ll see refrigerators stocked with house-made treats like brownies, cookies, parfaits, dessert bars, and other grab-and-go options.

Kula Shave Ice might not technically be a coffee shop, but I had to include it because their Organic Sea Salt Maple Latte truly has a chokehold on me. It’s that good. If you’re someone who cares about what’s actually in your drink, this is such a solid spot.
