Everything You’ll Want to See
Day 1: Fort Lauderdale
I recently went to Florida to visit my boyfriend and meet his family. So, of course, I have to share with you guys the best places we went, and also some places we didn’t get to, but I think you should go on your visit.
The first thing we did was head straight to Fort Lauderdale Beach, and it was the perfect place to start our trip. We loved walking along the beach, soaking up the weather, and taking in the lively atmosphere. With so many great restaurants nearby, we had plenty of options for dinner, and of course, we couldn’t leave without staying to watch the sunset, the perfect way to end the evening.

Day 2: Miami
Day 2 was spent in Miami. On the way, we made a quick stop at Palm Beach Bakery & Café, where we were greeted by incredibly friendly staff and local regulars who happily shared their favorite menu picks. It was such a great little spot and definitely worth stopping at if you’re in the area.
After our coffee break, we headed straight to Miami Beach and spent the day on Ocean Drive, walking around, soaking up the sun, relaxing on the beach, and watching Dave dig a massive hole (lol). I even had a close call with a jellyfish… eeek. Ocean Drive is the perfect place for a full beach day, with easy beach access, tons of shopping, and a wide variety of restaurants to grab a bite whenever you’re ready to refuel.
Day 3: Palm Beach
The Third and Final day was by far my favorite. We went to Palm Beach, specifically Worth Avenue. While walking the streets of Worth Avenue, you’ll find Vias(or little pedestrian alleys) that lead to beautiful courtyards that are home to cafes, boutiques, and other shops. Each Via is unique, having its own character and architecture. You can also stop at Church Mouse, a thrift/consignment store, where you’ll find designer pieces and home decor.

Day 3: Drift Coffee
After wandering Worth Avenue for awhile I made Dave stop at Drift, a coffee shop nearby in Palm Beach. The shop was so aesthetic, tucked in between buildings and right next to a historic hotel. The coffee was amazing!! I got the Stella Latte, which included organic counterculture espresso, organic maple syrup, and palm beach sea salt. If those ingredients don’t make your mouth water, the smell and taste of this latte will. If you find yourself anywhere near Palm Beach, you must add this to your list.

Day 3: Eataly
To end this day we had to stop at Eataly. For those of you who don’t know what Eataly is, let me educate you a little. Eataly is a large Italian food marketplace and food hall where you can eat, shop, and learn all things Italian food and drink under one roof. It combines restaurants, cafés, fresh markets, gourmet groceries, wine bars, and often cooking classes or events into one destination focused on high-quality Italian products and cuisine. This description doesn’t even do it justice; it is so much bigger and better than you can imagine. I am sad to say that I did not get to try any of the food items there because we went pretty late in the day, but we did save room for dessert. We got some desserts to try, from La Pasticceria, one was like a giant Ferrero Rocher called a Toro, and the other was just a cream-filled pastry, both delicious. This is another stop I highly recommend you make if you are anywhere in the Palm Beach area. This location was right by a shopping center and a bunch of outdoor seating, it would make for a great day or evening stop on your vacation

Places We didn’t Get to see But You Should
Saved For Next Time
The Palm House Hotel
The Palm House is one of the most sought-after boutique hotels in Palm Beach. It is a luxury hotel with vibrant designs, and it is very hard to miss with its pink theme, aka my favorite part. You can visit parts of the hotel without actually staying there by making a reservation at one of the restaurants or sitting at the hotel bar. The hotel is also close to the beach and right by Worth Avenue, making it a convenient lunch or dinner location for your trip.
Craft Cocktail Bar
Handcrafted cocktails made with premium spirits, fresh citrus, and seasonal ingredients, served in a chic Palm Beach setting.
Upscale Dining
Elevated coastal cuisine featuring fresh seafood, modern American dishes, and locally inspired flavors in an elegant atmosphere

SUNSHINE COFFEE
I’ve never been so disappointed in myself for missing a coffee shop! Sunshine Coffee in Miami is an absolute dream, with an incredible menu that pairs specialty coffee with delicious food items. The shop has the cutest aesthetic, perfect for photos, and the heartfelt story behind its name makes it even more special. Run by a local family, Sunshine Coffee combines great reviews, welcoming vibes, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that makes it a must-stop spot for anyone exploring the city.
The Latte Look
Must-try lattes at Sunshine Coffee include the Milk & Cookies and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Lattes
Sunshine Eats
The Sunshine Sando is a must-try. Or, treat yourself to the warm Sun drop mini doughnuts drizzled with a vanilla glaze.

Vizcaya Museum
Located in Miami, the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is one of those places that looks unreal. Walking through the estate supposedly feels like you’ve been transported to a European villa, with stunning rooms filled with antique furniture, detailed artwork, and so much character. Outside, the gardens are just as impressive, featuring beautiful fountains, sculptures, and waterfront views that are perfect for exploring (and taking photos).
Vizcaya was originally built in the early 1900s as the winter home of businessman James Deering. Today, it’s one of Miami’s most iconic landmarks and an absolute must-visit if you love history, architecture, or just want a peaceful break from the city.
